Chivalry and the BDSM lifestyle

While a submissive or slave will serve their owner within their limits, can we expect a Dom/me to be chivalrous towards us or is this something that is not prevalent in this type of dynamic?

  1. If a submissive/slave is the most valuable person/property the Dominant owns one would think this would go without saying. For we only tend to honor the things we value. This dynamic is built on huge platforms of respect and manners that ties in with may protocols and expectations for both the Dominant and submissive/slave. In addition, one should expect certain decorum at release from a dynamic that is often not demonstrated enough.

  3. Well if you mean should the s type expect the D-type to come running every time the s-type makes a squeak I would think the s-type will be disappointed. However if you mean being protective of the D-types property that a lot of value is placed on then yes the s-type should expect to be protected.
But independant thought and self protection should also expected of the s-type. Protect your Master's property.
