I recently read a section of a website that was like a "Dear Abby" piece. Someone asked if she could still be considered a submissive if she wasn't into submissive. The person who answered her said that service doesn't have to be apart of a D/s or M/s dynamic.
What do Y/you A/all think?
Sarah
Well the person that said that, is correct and that service does not have to be a part of D/s or M/s. As it can be just a sexual kink based thing, that is only in the bedroom or between a Pro Dom or a Pro Submissive. But that does not make it a BDSM relationship or a D/s relationship. But it does make it a strictly sexual based, activity in which BDSM activities are occurring. Just like a service only based, situation between a Dominant and submissive, or even a Master and Slave does not inherently make it a D/s or M/s relationship. Just a service based situation again in which acts of BDSM may or may not be occurring. As not all service only based situations, involve any acts of kinky activities. As you can still have a person who is a submissive or slave, that is service only based that does nothing more then preform task such as that of a maid or butler. But one can argue that it is a sexual only based relationship, or a business only relationship within BDSM.
ReplyDeleteAs these are no less a form of a dynamic, then those who involve intimate love between each all participating parties. And is a simple question to answer, and has been answered in a very similar manner. So put simply yes, as we all know there is no one way to do BDSM.
I would like to see the original link so I can reply in context.
